Not long ago, while doing an interview, I was asked when my love of photography first began. I was about to say, "oh, about 12 years ago", but that's when I remembered as a child I was obsessed with a small Barbie camera I used to have. I took that baby everywhere! I think THAT was when my photography journey really began. I have that toy camera to thank for my first glimpse into the wonder that is capturing the world through a lens.

I've definitely graduated past my Barbie camera, but my my love for photography and capturing life's moments has not changed. I have taken all that I loved from those early days, and combined it with a lot of practice and training, and transformed my passion into a thriving business!

Founded in 2019, Affinity Studios began as an on-location photography company initially offering a wide array of services and eventually streamlining to focus exclusively on boudoir. We quickly gained popularity and became dedicated to serving our community. As a business we went through trials and tribulations to get to where we are today.

 

In the beginning of 2023 I decided it was time for this business to undergo a true TRANSFORMATION, one that reflects where and who we are today as well as what we want to be in the future. I want to bring the spirit, joy and love I've found and cultivated through Affinity into a new era. I give you WILDFIRE Photography! While sultry adventures are still at our core, we now also provide other ways to express yourself such as personal branding, and creative portraits. No matter how you want to share yourself with the world, we've got an adventure for that! No matter what you choose my goal is that every glorious human who walks in front of my camera will feel their confidence, joy, and self-love spread like WILDFIRE!

While photography is one of my greatest passions, so is my family, my fur babies, and CHEESE! I'm Wisconsin born and raised and I love calling where I live home. I'm grateful for the support of my husband, family, friends, and this incredible community I've built. My biggest goal, beyond bringing love, joy, and self acceptance into this world, is to share this with my daughter some day. I hope to build a business and a community that she will be PROUD of!
